Build 1.05 is ready! More enemy Champions than ever before prowl the depths, and defeating them will earn you a Proof of Stremf, a trophy you can carry proudly back to the Academy! Collecting these trophies allows the Academy Battlemaster to upgrade your base stats! Best of all, each trophy goes toward a permanent running total that can be used by future graduates!
There’s additional changes too, including the addition of bulk selling! Get all your trash cleaned out in one swell foop! Read all about it here: http://www.dungeonmans.com/?page_id=290
This game looks awesome. However, I am running Windows 7 and try to start the demo nothing happens. I tried downloading a new copy in case it was corrupt but it seems to just not work.
Bah cancel that. I just downloaded XNA for another game a few days ago and I thought I had the new one but it looks like they used an older version so that was the problem.
I’m glad it’s working now! Eventually I’ll set up an installer so you won’t have to worry about grabbing XNA separately. Have fun crushing monsters!
I cannot get this to work in Vista. I think the problem is XNA. The link you gave does not support Vista so I downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20914 but it still did not work. I tried running the program as admin as well.
I’m sorry to hear that. This is the first I’ve heard of the problem. If you installed the XNA Redistributable and the game still doesn’t run, hmm. Did the crash catcher pop up? If not, is there any particular message box?
The crash program comes up but it does not have any information. My system made a .tmp.mdmp file to send to Microsoft so I sent you an e-mail with the file. Hope it helps.
i try to open the game, but nothing happen at all. not even with the XNA link you give it.
I have Windows 7 Home premium 64 bits.
same thing with 1 version ago.
I have the same issue as Nate, but downloading the 4.0 XNA files from the Kickstarter site didn’t make any difference. Windows 7 OS, trying to run the Dungeonmans.exe results in the mouse pointer changing to the “thinking” icon for a few seconds, then nothing. No crashes, nothing running in task manager.
Thoughts?
Add me to the list. Clicked it, process opens in Task Manager for a few seconds, and closes, nothing happens on the screen.
Installed XNA from that Microsoft.com link, still have the same problem.
